1st of January at starting of new year, Bollywood famous model and actress Vidya Balan is celebrating her 33rd birthday. She was born 1st January 1978 in Ottapalam, Palakkad District. She started her with commercials and music videos. Bhalo Theko is her debut Bengali movie which released in 2003.

Parineeta, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Guru, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Salam-e-Ishq, Om Shanti Om and Paa are her most successful movies. She was the winner of Filmfare Best Actress Award in 2009 for Paa movie. Her recent movie No One Killed Jessica is releasing at 7th January 2011.

Bollywood beauty queen Aishwarya Roy got angry at fashion magazine Elle when they published her edited photo on title of the magazine. Photo is edited to more white skin color scheme. Aishwarya said, Magazine tried to promote racial discrimination and i can go to the court against magazine. She said, women abilities to recognized in India without any skin lightening controversy and they are selected only on merit. She said, i'm getting information about that how they changed photo's color. If i got any prove i will go to the court.

Bollywood musical composer A.R Rehman has been nominated for golden global awards. He has been nominated for awards for his best music given to Danny Boyle's Hollywood movie 127 Hours. The two Oscars had been already awarded to him for his outstanding music in Slumdog Millionaire in 2009.
Hollywood Foreign Press Association is hosting these awards for 68 time in January 2011. Danny Boyle's 127 Hours has been nominated also for best actor and best screenplay awards.
